HATCHING A GOOD PLAN

Discover the great potential of the tapestry technique called ‘hatching’, which creates a subtle shading effect, moving from dark to light, from shiny to matt, or blending one colour into another.

Hatching is often referred to as being ‘the soul of tapestry’. Once mastered, your tapestries will come alive, gain depth and movement and look quite different to everything you tried before.

You will be taught various possibilities of hatching and colour shading by concentrating on simple shapes and small formats.

Suitable for all levels.
Cost: £100 including use of equipment and material.
